Is one lifetime enough?

After a long long time I am watching the sun set. Within the gray-white interiors of my office, I had almost forgotten how it feels to see something as miraculous as a simple sunset. The fluorescent skies, the river, the dark shadows and the birds, everything seems perfect.
This 45 minute drive home seems like a never-ending one today. It's Friday, the weekend. Lots of plans, lots of things on mind. Two days to myself! Ah no, its two days and an evening! But are they enough?
I wonder how many colors there are in the skies that I have not seen yet, so many different places yet unvisited, interesting people that I have not met so far. So much to do, so much to achieve, right here, right now. Sometimes I can’t help thinking….. Is one lifetime enough?

  2. The best one, in an IT life we are so busy with project work and in interaction with out client's that we know that at 6:00pm we have a client call, but we have forgotten to take a minute out to c the evening sky, the color changes at the sunset, the silence at that moment and bird's returning home....KC indeed a very excellent blog.....I love the sun set :)

  3. Very well written and raised a question which can't be answered easily ....It true that there are many places, yet to be visited but have we observed the places near by ... there so many people whom we have to meet , but do we realize the importance of our near ones...there are many colors, untouched …. But are we enjoying the beauty of our present colors…. The answer is simple … NO !!!

In our busy schedule, we don’t have time to sit near to our near one and make them understand that how much we care for them and our life is incomplete without them …

So I believe – Live in your Present!!!

  4. Doing is important that, what you do?
Even though the sky is limit to anything but what matters most is whether you are satisfied or not.
One has to focus on Process rather than Input and output.
Never compare with someone else, but create something with which others strive to compare.
